Love

Love is something you didn't earn

And you can't lose
You can't take advantage of
That which is given freely

Love doesn't take away the work
That you and I must do
But love looks past the little
Selves that we all use

Love is all around you
And deep down in every little cell 
It's everywhere and nowhere
The strongest force there is

Love is the essence of life
As it holds together
That which should stay together
It is the integrity of our beingness

Love releases that which is done
And we go our separate ways
Love reconnects that which is meant to be
Across oceans, lifetimes--all time and space.

Love is creation 
We are created and therefore loved
